Soul Care Yoga

Creating spaces to experience stillness, movement, breath, & connection to your mind, body, and soul.

I offer Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, and Yin classes while weaving in soul care elements. I aim to create an environment of safety, warmth, and welcome. I invite people to come as they are, truly. Caring for our whole selves involves taking notice of our physical as well as mental, emotional, & spiritual beings. In my classes I will often provide a time of silence, allowing one to have some space and pause. Soul Care Yoga is a space for you to move, notice, and just BE. We practice presence, being in the here and now, with no agenda.

About Me

I’ve practiced Yoga on and off for several years but I started consistently practicing during the Spring of 2020. I really loved how Yoga not only challenged me physically, but tapped into my emotions & mind as well. I started to crave the ritual of movement and mindfulness. Then in the Summer of 2021 I started practicing consistently in heated vinyasa flow classes and I was amazed how the heat and movement brought new challenges and benefits to my practice. I received my Yoga Teacher Training certificate in December of 2021 from LifePower Yoga. Another passion of mine has been spiritual formation and the contemplative rhythms and practices that have grounded Christians for centuries. I started to blend soul care and some of these contemplative rhythms into my Yoga practice. I found this union to be healing, grounding, and refreshing. Historically I’ve struggled with getting “out of my head” but as I pair music to movement and intention I’m able to access the heart and body in ways that felt difficult before. As a Yoga Teacher I see myself as a guide. This is your practice and all I do is create the space and environment for you to listen and be present to what you need in that time. I would love for you to join me, whether you’re a seasoned yogi, a yoga skeptic, or eager beginner. Namaste!
